'Good Omens' by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman
'Good Omens' by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman

An amusing, hit-and-miss story of angels, demons, the antichrist, and so on. Some parts of the book work well, and are full of absurd, nonchalant, tongue-in-cheek, British humor, reminiscent of Monty Python; some parts of the book don’t work so well, and feel silly or a bit too full of deus ex machina solutions (which, given the theme, I suppose is OK?). Overall, it’s entertaining, though not particularly memorable.
