In order to investigate the murder of two pharmacists, Bosch goes undercover and into the world of pill mills. Meanwhile, a killer Bosch put away decades ago claims Harry framed him, and seems to have new evidence to prove it. It’s another solid entry in the Bosch series, with a particularly interesting look at the opioid epidemic. The other case, about the frame up, feels more like a distraction, as we all know exactly how it’ll end. Overall though, this is book 20, so if you made it this far, you’ll probably like it.
