At a wedding, Elizabeth meets Nick, who asks for her help in trying to figure out who is trying to kill him. Shortly after, Nick disappears, and the Thursday Murder Club has a new mystery to solve. And it’s a good one. In fact, if anything, I think Richard Osman is getting better, as this is one of the best books in the series.
All the wonderful characters from the previous book are back. The sad themes from the previous book are back too, and handled with grace. As always, it’s a lovely mix of humor, tragedy, mystery solving, friendship, enemies, and love. I can’t wait for the next one!
