A new story in the Super Powereds universe! This one takes place roughly in parallel to the original series, filling in a few gaps in those stories. This book primarily focuses on Titan, who had a small role in the original series, but turns out to be a great character fully able to carry a book in his own right. We get to see him try to return to the superhero world after the scandal that tore apart his life and family, and it’s a reasonably compelling tale.
As with the original series, there are plenty of fun battles, and lots of focus on the themes of heroism, doing the right thing, friendship, loyalty, and so on. Expect lots of scenes that make you feel warm and cuddly. The biggest drawback is that, other than Titan, none of the main characters from the original series make an appearance (though you hear a mention of them here and there). Actually, an even bigger drawback is that the story comes to an end, and then you realize there are no more books in the series!
