The story goes back to (mostly) focusing on the fun characters and world building from the first two books, rather than the weird, overly magical stuff from the third book.
-
Most of the key plot points are wrapped up.
-
Decent action, pacing, and a few good twists.
-
A little too sappy and heavy on the “love and friendship will save us all” theme.
