Review: Of Ants and Dinosaurs by Liu Cixin

The good

• A somewhat interesting cautionary tale of climate change, war, and weapons of mass destruction.

• Some creative ideas around how ants and dinosaurs might live together in a symbiotic relationship, the technologies they might develop, and the weapons they might use to fight each other. You can always count on Liu Cixin for creativity.

The not so good

• The story is a bit too simplistic, and the cautionary tale a bit too on the nose. Maybe this is more of a story for children to read?

• The characters are flat and unrealistic. You can always count on Liu Cixin for 2 dimensional characters.
