If you liked the first two books in the series, you’ll like this one. More massive space battles, strategy, leadership, morale, and a respect for the physics of space (i.e., the massive distances and speeds involved). The relationship between the protagonist and his love interest is still cringe worthy, and this book doesn’t move the plot all that much further along, but there are some fun twists and heroic sacrifices, and it’s still an entertaining, though slightly mindless, read.
