An entertaining second entry in the Beyonders series. Again, the world is deeply imaginative and fun—especially the torivors (AKA lurkers). But, again, just like the first book in the series, the writing is a bit primitive and the pacing is all over the place. It’s still fun to escape to the world of the Beyonders, but I can’t help but think that the author could’ve done much more with this world.
