The good
- As usual, a fun and gripping opening scene.
- Some genuinely laugh-out-loud moments. The McKinney cousins and Francis Neagley are particularly hilarious.
- Decent detective work.
- Interesting to see the relationship between the US Army, Marines, and a small US town.
- We get to see an important chapter in Jack Reacher’s military career.
The not so good
- This book drags a little bit towards the end.
- The way Reacher “resolves” some of the problems in this one is a bit… questionable.
