It’s book 18 in the series, so I’m obviously a fan of the series, and more time with Joe and Skippy is always fun. That said, this isn’t the strongest entry in the series. There are some good moments, and this book advances the plot appreciably, but there are is a lot of recycled content (“Joe, this is impossible,” Joe does it anyway, “Joe, I hate you sooo much”), and a few parts that felt rushed or jarring (I’ll avoid saying what they are to avoid spoilers).
