'Robots and Empire' by Isaac Asimov
'Robots and Empire' by Isaac Asimov

An interesting continuation of the Robots series. Several fun characters return (Daneel, Gladia, Giskard), and we get more entertaining explorations of the laws of robotics, as well as some tie-ins to the empire of the Foundation series. I found the “deductions” the characters do to be a bit absurd—it felt more like the author saying “I know this will happen because I wrote it” than someone genuinely reasoning something out from evidence—but it was still an entertaining and thought-provoking tale.
