'Nine Dragons' by Michael Connelly
'Nine Dragons' by Michael Connelly

A bit of an odd entry in the Bosch series. It starts off pretty typical, but the further you go into the story, the more zany and outlandish things become. The final reveals at the end are a bit hard to swallow. No one acts like normal people would act—everyone is a caricature or stereotype. It’s still an entertaining, fast-paced read, but not the strongest book in the series.
