'The Cider House Rules' by John Irving
'The Cider House Rules' by John Irving

An interesting exploration of orphanages, abortion, and women’s rights. As with other John Irving books, you get unique, bizarre, not-entirely realistic, and somewhat disturbed and disturbing characters. The plot was a bit meandering, and the book could’ve probably been shorter, but there are some interesting moments along the way.
