Another solid entry in the Jack Reacher series. This one goes back to the 90s, earlier in Reacher’s career, and focuses on him untangling the mysterious death of an army general. There wasn’t as much action in this book as others, but instead you get a lot more detective and deduction work, which is a reasonable trade. You also get to see more of the backstory of Reacher’s family, which I thought was done fairly well. As always, the endings are a bit meh, but overall, it was another fast, fun, entertaining read.
