The good
-
Reveals some of the origin story of the silos. It’s a bit whacky, but mostly holds together.
-
A few good twists and turns. Eventually, it connects to the events of the first book of the series in a mostly satisfying way.
-
Some interesting characters.
The not so good
- The story jumps around and through time quite a bit, so it’s hard to get attached to the characters.
