'Milk Run' by Nathan Lowell
'Milk Run' by Nathan Lowell

The good

  • Fun new universe. It feels like a real place, with its own politics, economics, and hardships, rather than some futuristic sci fi utopia.

  • Interesting characters. Most of them feel like real, fully-fleshed out people.

  • Some neat sci fi ideas.

  • A little bit of deduction work.

The not so good

  • The deduction work isn’t particularly interesting and doesn’t give the reader a chance to really participate.

  • Not a whole lot really happens in the plot. Although there is some murder and mystery in the background, the plot primarily focuses on a few deliveries across space, a bit like reading about an outer space version of FedEx.
