The good
- As with most of Liu Cixin’s books, this one has a fascinating premise, and some interesting ideas and scenarios that follow on from that premise.
The not so good
-
As with most of Liu Cixin’s books, the writing (or possibly the translation) isn’t great, and the characters don’t act or feel like real people.
-
The stereotypes of each country were a bit lame.
-
The plot in this story felt a bit random, meandering, and didn’t amount to much.
