Review: Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne

An entertaining and imaginative read, although one that doesn’t fully hold up in the modern day. With what we know now from a scientific perspective, some of the core plot ideas of the story don’t work at all, and the characters and dialog aren’t strong enough to carry the book alone. Still, it’s an exciting adventure, and I can see why the book became so famous in its day.
