Did not finish. The prose was overly flowery (“purple prose”), the characters felt like something out of a bad film noir, and the story didn’t seem to go anywhere. I found myself constantly tuning out, and when I’d tune back in, I had no idea what (if anything) was going on. Made it through ~25% of Justine and gave up.
