The good
- Lots of great characters, especially the ever-amusing John Corey.
- Fun dialog. Listening to Corey make fun of people is 80% of the reason to read these books.
- Starts with a great premise around something going eerily wrong aboard a flight.
- Good, thrilling action scenes.
- Occasionally interesting detective work.
The not so good
- The book drags on much longer than it needs to. I think DeMille enjoyed following his own villain around a little too much.
- The villain is a cartoony, all-evil stereotype.
- Weird love affair.
- Is there even a single woman in the Corey books that isn’t attractive?
Overall
A fun, slightly brainless, somewhat funny, and always entertaining read.
