Many people describe this book as a page turner, but I actually found it hard to read. Not because it’s poorly written—quite the opposite, the writing is good and the reporting that uncovered all of this even better—but because the behavior of everyone at Theranos was so despicable, that I struggled to get up the motivation to keep reading about it. It was lies upon lies upon lies, an entire book focused on horrible people doing horrible things. I’m glad this book exists to expose them, and it’s well worth a read, but I can’t exactly describe it as fun reading :)
