Athlete

What a disgrace it would be for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable. - Socrates

I'm passionate about health & fitness and spend a lot of time training using Crossfit methodologies. The goal of Crossfit is to develop "General Physical Preparedness" (GPP) or proficiency in the 10 fitness domains: cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, and accuracy. In this spirit, Crossfit workouts combine a little bit of everything: power lifting, olympic lifting, kettlebells, gymnastics, calisthenics, plyometrics, running, rowing, climbing, jumping and more. Crossfit is the most intense, varied, effective and addictive form of exercise I've ever done. I track all my workouts in my workout journal. For more info, check out the Crossfit mainpage, "What is Crossfit?", "What is Fitness?", my 2010 Crossfit Goals and my Tribute to Crossfit.

The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page. - St. Augustine
